Microsoft Outlook for iOS is getting a new design and dark mode

I find it interesting that Microsoft has added a big colorful banner to their iOS app just as Google is taking their’s away. Outlook’s seems like a copy and doesn’t flow well with their design. Microsoft has been pushing a more colorful default Office theme on the desktop for years and already had the colorful banner on Android, so it only makes sense it finally came to iOS. The old design was still a carryover from their acquisition of Acompli. I’m sure Microsoft will tweak it and make the design work better in the future. I don’t mind the colored banners on iOS but on Android, it’s too much.
